1 teaspoon of dried herb infused into a cup of hot water. Strain and drink. Sweet with honey to taste if required. Repeat 3 times a day as required.
Don’t use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Chamomile should not be taken in conjunction with sedative medications or alcohol. Can interfere with blood clotting. Do not use in conjunction with aspirin, warfarin or any other drugs with possess anticoagulant actions. May cause vomiting in large doses. St Johns Wort can cause photosensitivity and Interacts with many prescription medications, including the contraceptive pill. Check with your doctor before using if you are on prescription medication. Black Cohosh should not be used if you have a history of liver disease. Do not take this tea simultaneously with mineral supplements, wait at least half an hour between the two. Do not use if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients. If allergic reaction occurs discontinue use. It is not advisable to use vervain when taking medications that raise or lower blood pressure or with any form of hormonal therapy. Do not take with the medication levodopa (L-dopa). Do not take in excessive doses as high doses of vervain can cause central nervous system paralysis. Keep out of reach of children.
